Monte San Savino celebrates sport and its champions with the "Augusto Frullani Award"

Arezzo, October 3, 2025 – Monte San Savino once again pays tribute to its athletes with the third edition of the “Augusto Frullani Award – Sport and Sportspeople of Savino,” an eagerly awaited event for the community dedicated to those who have distinguished themselves in the world of sport, bringing the town's name to the fore.

The evening will be held on Friday, October 10th at 9:30 pm at the Teatro Verdi (free admission), in collaboration with the Azienda Speciale Monteservizi.

This year, four athletes from Savignano will be awarded:  two current athletes who have distinguished themselves with results and victories in the current or recently concluded season;  two historic athletes, to celebrate their commitment, dedication, and goals achieved over years of competitive activity and passion.

Maurizio Borgogni, known as "Ceccarino," and Lucia Borri will host the evening, offering a journey of stories, emotions, and memories that connect sport to the life of the Monte San Savino community. The Augusto Frullani Award is not just a recognition of individual athletes and teams, but also an opportunity to reaffirm how sport is an integral part of Monte San Savino's identity, uniting generations, stories, and successes.

A special evening to celebrate together the achievements of our best athletes and our best teams, testaments to talent, commitment, and passion.
